Be Part of the Movement to Restore Water
Water Is Alive is built on the belief that it takes everyone to restore our water and soil ecosystems. Scientists, volunteers, farmers, students, and community members all play a role in rebuilding healthy water systems.
Since its founding, Virginia Kilgore, Principal Officer of Water Is Alive, has led the organization’s work to develop natural solutions that use food waste and beneficial microorganisms to restore soil and improve water quality. While Virginia leads the research and field work, the organization has always depended on a growing community of volunteers, partners, and supporters who believe in the mission.
Together, we are working toward a future where waste becomes a resource and where natural biological systems help restore balance to our environment.
